Staff Appraiser
Accept and complete residential value assignments as part of a national firm, with the training, technology and client base of RSDS behind you.
About the role
RSDS Staff Appraisers complete value assignments including market value, liquidation value, “as repaired” value and other residential values. Products include traditional, hybrid and desktop appraisals compliant with RSDS standards and best practices, USPAP, and client requirements, from non-complex to highly complex assignments.
Key responsibilities
- Complete value assignments using recognized methods and techniques to produce a credible appraisal
- Execute the appraisal process in compliance with USPAP, federal and state appraisal laws, and client directives
- Collect, verify and analyze sales, pending sales and listings
- Maintain workfile documentation that supports your opinions and USPAP compliance
- Meet production and service goals while meeting or exceeding the RSDS Service Level Agreement
- Provide proactive order-level status updates and respond to calls, emails and texts promptly
- Attend company training and conference calls
Qualifications
- A current state-issued appraiser license or certification for your territory
- Strong knowledge of USPAP and federal and state appraisal regulations
- Proven residential appraisal experience
- Excellent data management and professional communication
- Commitment to ethics, integrity and confidentiality
- Reliable transportation and ability to perform field inspections
